Wordless Wednesday- World On Fire

***This is in no way related to the So Cal fires... "World on fire" is just the first thought that popped in my head when I took this picture in Eastern Iowa, Just outside my front door ;) Sorry for the confusion***

Beautiful picture. I feel so sorry for all those affected by the SoCal fires. Their world is definitely on fire.

The sky is awesome. It does look like it's on fire, and it made me think of Southern California. Have a great WW. Hugs :)

Hi Mert... Thanks for visiting my blog for Manic Monday. I just dropped in to tell you I'm giving you a 'sweet treat' that you can pick up at my blog.

I forgot all about Wordless Wednesday, so better go figure out something for it.

Mert! Did you take that picture? Is it yours? It's awesome!

I'm assuming this is a sunset, and not a picture of a nearby forest fire.

I love this photo, Mert. Awesome! Mine is finally up. Being late and having too much other stuff to do, I just threw something up, nothing special, haha.

Happy WW

Thanks everyone! Yes, that is a shot from outside my house... it was hard getting the shot without houses and street lights in it and it faded very fast! I wish i could have gotten it while it was first going down :D And yes I'm glad it's not an actual fire, but that's what it reminded me of.

I also expected a pix of southern california when I saw your title.

I even thought about S. Cal. when I posted my fall colors.

Beautiful sky you have there.

You captured it beautifully! It looks like the sunrise my daughter and I were just admiring.

My cousin-in-law and her husband had to evacuate their beautiful home. They went to a friends and then had to evacuate from there too. They are no planning to leave the state till the thing is over because she just had heart surgery 2 months ago.

Docs told her its better if they get out.

Thanks for coming by, happy WW!
